Rocky Point Press is an imprint of Sandpoint Public Relations LLC based in Sandpoint, Idaho.
With a long history of writing and editing, mass communications, public relations, and web-content writing as well as authorship, ghosting and tag-writing of published books we decided it was time to enter the arena as a book publisher.
Sandpoint Public Relations LLC is directed by Dwayne K Parsons, founder of this and several other websites including IFishWrite and ITweetWrite. He is co-founder of Thudbits, RuralLiberty, DelistWolves, and WiseUseMovement. He also acts as overseer and webmaster to several client sites.
Ever reaching, Sandpoint Public Relations LLC serves select clients outside the book industry as well on a global level. He is a share holder in the startup company of Yeno.com and the newly formed IdahoFirst Realty.
Author’s Call
Dwayne is host of a radio show, AuthorsCall, which airs Sunday afternoons at 3:00 PM PST on KYMS FM 89.9 Christian Radio. AuthorsCall interviews the full gamut of Christian authors but favors Christian fiction writers from the lesser known to the world renown. Select shows and edits are scheduled for podcast here and on select author sites so that our fans and readers can enjoy listening to what these contemporary writers think about the world of publishing, their works, the struggles to publish and the successes that follow publication.
Dwayne’s frequent contact with American Christian authors is the inspiration behind Sandpoint Public Relations’ venture with Rocky Point Press.org.
Our first featured author, Carol AuClair debuts with a penetrating character study in A Bridge to Justice. We’re proud that Carol went with us because we know we’re launching an exciting new author who’s storytelling is exceptional.
We’ll be introducing an ever-increasing selection of worthwhile authors; so check in often. Some of those we introduce are self-published, like John Betcher of A Higher Court, whom we feel deserve greater recognition, authors who deserve a larger reading audience. Others are main stream, like Frank Perreti just now launching Illusion through .
The Blog
Dwayne’s blog goes indepth into the ever-changing world of books and book publishing and marketing. He loves to feature authors of talent who provide readers with high moral values, keen insights and fascinating story-telling.
Dwayne blogs about the challenges of sustained writing as well as the overcoming of fear and sometimes that of circumstances that hold back so many capable writers. He blogs about the techniques of writing and the drive, planning and forethought it takes to realize a successfully published work.
Over time, he hopes to introduce you to agents and other publishers and to bring you their insights and wisdom when allowed.
